Dear Maintainers,

Weather data used in gnome-weather is extremely limited. Testing locations
close to me in the UK only offers location around 100 miles away. The limited
data makes gnome-weather unusable.

Regards

Phil

Control: reassign -1 src:libgweather4

The location data comes from libgweather. You could submit a merge
request upstream to add the specific city you want; however it looks
like libgweather upstream is undermaintained and there are a lot of
merge requests waiting for review.

Hello,

as Jeremy has mentioned, it should be brought to the upstream developers,
because we only maintain packages and don't develop them ourselves.

Here are the link for gnome-weather and libgweather:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-weather
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgweather

Please, report your expectations here.

Thanks,
Dawid Kulas

Dawid,

This situation is supposed to be improved with the latest version of
libgweather4 which needs a new package:
