When viewing a bug report at bugs.debian.org, there is a tickbox to
“Display info messages”. That did not used to be a tickbox. I don’t
recall how it was presented but it used to work before it became a
tickbox. I seem to recall it was a hyperlink written as “toggle
useless messages”.

A tickbox is somewhat unusual when there is no form or submit
button. Aesthetics aside, it does not function. Tested in a Chromium
based browser and a Firefox based browser, ticking the box has no
effect.
