Rnote is an open-source vector-based drawing app for sketching, handwritten
notes and to annotate documents and pictures. It is targeted at students,
teachers and those who own a drawing tablet and provides features like PDF and
picture import and export, an infinite canvas and an adaptive UI for big and
small screens.

Rnote works well with my drawing tablet and my touch screen tablet. It's one
of only FOSS notetaking software with infinite canvas support. The packaging
process will be lengthy due to its many dependency. The packaging will happen
on Salsa and I intend to maintain it with other Debian rust developers.

Hi Yifei,

rnote would also be of interest to me to have in Debian. Let me know if

Hi,

parry2d-f64, piet and poppler-rs would be starting points. I can take
poppler-rs. Not that you can install cargo-debstatus (from trixie) and
run that against the crates/rnote- folder to determine the missing deps.

I am active in the rust team so let me know if you have your first crate
ready, I can review it then.
