I tried to configure my Nextcloud online account.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

The gnome-online-accounts application hangs indefinitely.

FYI, I am able to set up calendar and contacts using evolution instead
of gnome-online-accounts.

Perhaps this is a misconfiguration with your Nextcloud server?

gnome-online-accounts 3.53.0-1 just reached Testing with one helpful
change: the authentication timeout has been reduced from 2 minutes to
30 seconds. This change was made after multiple complaints of the
Online Accounts feature appearing to hang indefinitely.
