Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
installed gnome-shell-extension-caffeine - the debian package does not contain
the correct i18n .mo files
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
I downloaded the zip from upstream and run "make build"
   * What was the outcome of this action?
then the gnome shell extension zip file which contain the correct i18n files
where created
(locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/gnome-shell-extension-caffeine.mo)
those should be deployed with the .deb package not the source .po files

see for example gnome-shell-extension-shortcuts package

Some icons are not shown correctly - I moved them from "icons" folder
to "icons/hicolor/scalable/actions" - now it looks better.

the icon issue is resolved in GNOME 48 - needed to move them back to

extension.zip" from EGO.
There they have the icons also in "icons/hicolor/scalable/actions".
So both issues still present
