Dear Adam,
I'm filing this intent to salvage because it's unfortunately becoming clear that btrfs-progs would benefit from official collaborative maintenance. You can read about package salvaging here:
https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.en.html#package-salvaging
The conservative criteria:
* All activity in the last six months has been NMUs or rebuilds.
(Yes, I also checked the new git.sr.ht remote)
* Two NMUs have occured and neither have been acknowledged.
* It has been almost one year since the last maintainer upload.
* The Debian package is behind by 10 upstream releases.
Meanwhile we're once again in upstream (linux-btrfs@vger.kernel.org)'s bad books for failing to provide an adequately recent btrfs-progs release. (subject: "corrupt leaf, invalid data ref objectid value, read time tree block corruption detected")
My concern is for our users (and reputation) during Trixie's stable lifecycle, this is not a hijack, and I intend to retain you as an Uploader. My hope is that you will resume contact and maintenance of this package.
Best,
Nicholas
