The software provides an interface in cockpit for managing ZFS storage related tasks.

The official maintainers are currently providing rpm for rpm based distributions and deb for ubuntu 20.04 specifically. Currently does not support the current Debian 12 release or future Debian releases.

Current state of the packaging:

Repository is in and will produce a working package with new enough
cockpit.
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/cockpit-zfs-manager

However, there are a few road blocks as there are some minimized
javascript files that are missing their source
 - patternfly.min.css.gz
 - patternfly4.min.css.gz
 - jquery.min.js.gz (the packaged jquery for Debian seems not to be
compatible.)

(For full functionality, it seems to want znapzend,
https://github.com/oetiker/znapzend, (which is not packaged for
Debian)), but that seems to be optional.
