* What led up to the situation?
Checking for defects with
test-[g|n]roff -mandoc -t -K utf8 -rF0 -rHY=0 -ww -b -z < "man page"
[Use "groff -e ' $' <file>" to find trailing spaces.]
["test-groff" is a script in the repository for "groff"; is not shipped]
(local copy and "troff" slightly changed by me).
[The fate of "test-nroff" was decided in groff bug #55941.]
* What was the outcome of this action?
troff:<stdin>:66: warning: trailing space in the line
* What outcome did you expect instead?
No output (no warnings).

* Bjarni Ingi Gislason <bjarniig@simnet.is> [241208 10:09]: chage.1 is built from chage.1.xml. I don't see a patch for that, thus untagging. Best to send a patch to the docbook sources upstream. Thanks, Chris
Upstream would like to see your contributions in a specific format: Alejandro wrote in https://github.com/shadow-maint/shadow/issues/1173 Please consider this request. The best way is to submit PRs to https://github.com/shadow-maint/shadow/pulls If you really cannot do the PR route, you can also post git-send-email format patches in the respective bug. Thanks, Chris
tags -1 + wontfix tags -1 - patch close -1 Without a patch against the docbook sources I have nothing to forward upstream. Closing.
Upstream merged this.
