    I just wanted to signal you that removing the spamassassin package do not
   disable spamassassin-maintenance.timer

   [~]: systemctl --failed
     UNIT                           LOAD      ACTIVE SUB
   DESCRIPTION
   ● spamassassin-maintenance.timer not-found failed failed
   spamassassin-maintenance.timer

    i think that if the package is removed (and not purged) the timer  should
   also be removed/disabled.
