May I asked for patience in advance, since I am not a hardcore Dev/Programmer in Linux Area.
But, I am sure there is an issue, when installing packages or upgrading my Debian system,
with the generation of those needed initramfs files for those installed kernel versions
like ~6 years ago in:
https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/initramfs-tools/-/commit/b4804ddacf4082feb263d83b1b5c99be27850fc4
E.g:
Always when upgrading the Trixie Testing, those initramfs files will not only be generated
for each installed kernel version; this 'update-initramfs: Generating ..' process will also be
executed several times during the whole upgrade process.
I can understand this on my testing env, but I also recognized this on the latest
Debian EDU 12.8 from which I upgraded into Trixie testing.

Follow up on requested reportbug Q's:
   * What led up to the situation?
This situation always occurs when installing packages or upgrading the system
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
I already tried different EDU/non-EDU relases, Testing releases and also some changings
in BIOS on memory timings/handlings. Also I already fiddled with 'COMPRESSLEVEL=x' option.
   * What was the outcome of this actions?
It did not change a bit.
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
At least I expected a reduction of generation times on the execution of 'update-inintramfs'
I don't know if of any relevance: 'ext4lazyinit' was still running during those upgrade steps;
since it was the upgrade done at last to Testing.
