python3-redfish declares Conflicts with python3-ilorest. This violates Debian policy section 10.1: | Two different packages must not install programs with different | functionality but with the same filenames. Whilst it says programs here, that easily translates to libraries. One of them needs to be renamed. Helmut
The libraries python-redfish and python-ilorest are not compatible. python-ilorest is a fork from Hewlett Packard from 2016. Since then, it has been developed separately and incompatible. python-redfish is still active and is being actively developed by the Distributed Management Task Force (dmtf.org). I contacted the maintainer of python-ilorest and asked if he could adapt the namespace.
