I was able to unlock with the
loginct unlock-session {session-id}

I can see and access my session and move my windows / open menus with the
mouse.
Unfortunately the keyboard is still frozen limiting the utility of krdp.

I tried with remmina / krdc / wslfreerdp3

I encountered the same issue.

Before #1109233 was fixed, I was unable to input anything (mouse and
keyboard). After that, mouse input works fine but keyboard input is
still broken.

Just tried building and upgrading krdp and kpipewire to 6.4.2[1][2][3],
and it seems to fix the issue. There may be some commits worth
backporting if 6.4.x is not expected to be packaged soon.

[1]: I didn't test other versions.
[2]: You'll need to patch them so that it can build against a slightly
out-of-date extra-cmake-modules version.
[3]: You'll need to backport a commit and build xdg-desktop-portal-kde
in order to make them work:
https://invent.kde.org/plasma/xdg-desktop-portal-kde/-/commit/bc693871475f9d17258fa7e6afae6ddf52b18db3

Thanks,
Rong

Ah, that's really interesting thanks.

There's no way I can push the new 6.4 versions to trixie in its entirety, but I would really love to see the issue fixed. Do you think you could find the time to narrow down to the actual commits required for this to work ?
