Dear Maintainer,
When I drag a file to a folder gthumb will open a dialog
asking me to confirm that I want to move the file(s), however
per https://help.gnome.org/users/gthumb/stable/gthumb-file-copy-move.html.en
drag should be a copy (and shift+drag is a move).
Upstream has these two issues:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gthumb/-/issues/24
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gthumb/-/issues/229
If you follow the references commits both of these should be in
upstream 3.12.6.
The workaround is to select the file with click or multiple files
iwth ctrl+click then right click select "copy to ...".
I also tried selecting photos in the right pane and pressing
ctrl+c then navigating to a different folder via the left pane
tree view then pressing ctrl+v which didn't work either. I am
able to paste if I right click and select paste so it seems the
ctrl+v shortcut is not working.
