I've been happily using Evince for years, and I've always found Evince's
behavior of opening previously opened documents to the last page to
which they were previously opened to be very useful. Recently, on a new (KDE
focused) installation, I discovered that Evince was no longer doing
this, and was always opening documents to the beginning, even when they
had been previously opened to some other page. I eventually discovered
that this was apparently due to the fact that gvfs was not installed -
after installing it, the old behavior returned.

It seems to me that the description of the gvfs package may not be very
meaningful to the average Debian user, who may not realize that some
very useful Evince functionality depends on gvfs (which is only a
'suggestion' and not a 'recommendation' of Evince). I suggest that the
Evince package description or documentation should document the Evince
functionality that dependfs on gvfs.

Thank you for your work on this great package!
