Dear Maintainer,

QIF import fails.  The entire process appears as though it is followed
successfully but no records are imported from the imported QIF files.

Upstream bug https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=799492 covers
this issue.  Comment 5 contains a patch that works around the bug
(worked for me!), which could be added to the Debian version of the
package until a fixed upstream version is released.

This really needs to be fixed as it makes QIF import useless.

I ran into this issue as well. Imports of QIF files are currently impossible.
