Dear Maintainer,

It looks like since mesa 24.3.0, DRI2 for X11 is no longer enabled by
default, but the code is still there and (AFAIK) still supported.
Unfortunately, this makes my old (but still very actively used)
laptop unable to use video acceleration in some cases, since it doesn't
support DRI3.

I am not familiar with the meson build system, but as far as I
understand, it shouldn't be much harder than enabling the option
legacy-x11=dri2. Without this, I will be stuck with mesa 24.2.8 forever.

I'm actually surprised that no one else asked for this already.
