As the python3.13-only transition is now completed, the usage of
python3-distutils shall be completely dropped, Your package still
uses CDBS and python-distutils.mk, which is alarming. Please check
whether such usage involves distutils, and if possible, migrate to
the modern Python packaging infrastructure (dh-sequence-python3).

Some of my packages depend on cxxtest, and they are all flagged AUTORM
now because of this RC bug.  If you need any help getting this fixed in
a timely manner, I'm willing to give a hand (though I haven't looked
into the problem at all yet).

Jonathan pronounces it though. :)
 It's the removal of CDBS, sad that Jonas takes step by step away from
Debian. :(
There's an updated package, not yet uploaded [1]. If you have time,

(The original issue of #996394 is also fixed, but the new SyntaxWarnings
mentioned in the Graham's comment (invalid escape sequence '\s') are not.
I'll probably open a new wishlist bug for that. :)
