Hi!

This package has a dependency on dpkg-dev from its binary package,
which seems unused, but where I cannot tell what was the initial
reason for its addition from the changelog or the git history.
Besides the dependency being unusual/unexpected, it has been entangling
this package with dpkg's testing migration for several Debian releases
via its autopkgtests.

Please drop dpkg-dev from the Depends.

Sorry, it seems I filed this twice, as I probably didn't see the one
assigned to the source package on the binary package view. Merging
them now.
