Dear Maintainer,

I recently installed in my PC Debian Trixie, but I kept my old home directory
from Bookworm with all the configuration files.

With some file formats, for instance CSV, Nautilus showed an inconsistent
behavior: files could not be opened, unless I used the <Open with> option. The
properties menu as well was unresponsive.

The solution I found is here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=231842
. I erased the mimeinfo.cache file and everything runs perfectly again.

Could it be useful to implement a similar approach in Nautilus or Calamares in
order to avoid this conflict?

Thank you in advance,

Best Regards
