Dear Maintainer,

The new RTX 5000 series is only usable starting with driver version 570.124.04,
released in February 2025.

Please package the version 570 of the driver for support for the new GPUs:
5070, 5070 Ti, 5080, 5090.

I would like to request this as well. The current driver version is the
same that we ship in Trixie and we don't have any support for RTX 5000
cards although they have been used for some time now and are the
default NVIDIAS GPUs in laptops.

The production version seems to be 595 at the moment. But Git doesn't
show any branch related to version 570 or 595. Thus, I assume, these
versions are still not being worked on.

Is there anything that can be done to help the update and support your
work? What is required to have the current production version packaged?

Blackwell users will need nvidia-open-kernel-dkms (kernel module) and
nvidia-graphics-drivers (userspace).
