I am turning my workstation monitor off overnight. Now when I turn it on
again it's not giving me an unlock screen so I ssh in from my laptop and use
loginctl to unlock it.
Then when I get it unlocked it has the 5K monitor with nothing but the
background wallpaper and the actual windows are on the "Virtual output"
devices that have been created. I right-clock on the background and run
display configuration to disable both virtual outputs and then it goes back
to normal until the next time I turn my monitor off.
I'll send a screen-cap of the display settings in my next message.
