Dear Maintainer,
x2goserver is expected to always be fully compatible with the xfce4 desktop, as long as
compositing is disabled. However, with xfce 4.20 in Trixie (Testing), it is not possible
to configure the desktop wallpaper or turn it off using x2goclient. This has been verified
on multiple installs on different server machines. The menus appear to offer the option,
but when selecting alternative wallpapers or attempting to disable it, the menus and
functions are ineffective, i.e. nothing changes.
In comparison, xrdp with xorgxrdp and remmina client do allow changing or disabling the
desktop wallpaper in xfce 4.20.
Turning off desktop wallpaper is one of the first things one typically does to improve
the speed and legibilit of a remote desktop.
