attached.

Please place this file in debian/po/ as de.po for your next upload.

If you update your template, please use
'msgfmt --statistics <pofile.po>'
to check the po-files for fuzzy or untranslated strings.

If there are such strings, please contact me so I can update the
German translation.

Hello Camm,
while working on the translation of gcl27, I noticed that (at least)
the Swedish, French and German Debconf translations of gcl27 and gcl
were broken - all special characters were missing.

I corrected this for the German translation and the Swedish
translators did this for gcl; the French translators have acknowledged
the problem, I can ask them if they intend to provide an update, if
you want.

As we are closing for the Freeze for Trixie, this would require an
upload targetting Trixie for gcl. It would be great, because then the
readers of these languages have sensible words, instead of garbled
ones.

Would that be possible?

If you need help preparing the uplaod, please let me know; in case you
are unavailable I could also talk with my sponsor for a L10n-NMU.
Also, if you need help talking with the release managers for a freeze
exceptions, please let me know.

have.  If you can assemble the others I can likely upload today before
5/15 which is tomorrow.

Greetings!  Just wanted to clarify, there may be translation issues in
gcl27 and or gcl -- of course I'm happy to upload corrections, but we
should probably keep clear in our mind that the templates are not the
same.
