Package: debian-installer.
I was trying to install *Debian Sid* using the *Trixie* installer.
Everything was going well until I got to the "Partition disks" step.
Nothing was in the partition table of my HDD. I rebooted and only the
Debian installer was in the drive. The installer was the *Debian Trixie*
expert NCurses installer. This doesn't happen on the normal Debian Trixie
graphical installer.

Hi Bryan,

Did you have a backup, so you can restore the system back to its previous state?
What was installed on the disk before? (Windows, another Linux, ...)

To be extra sure, we understand correctly:
there was an operating system installed on this machine, and that system was
overritten by Debian installer?

In which step of "Partitioning disks" did that happen?
Directly at the beginning, or did you do anything in the partitioning menu, which
caused the overriting later than?
