Package: libreoffice
Version: 25.2.2-3
I would like to bring your attention to a potential bug in Debian Testing.
The issue affects LibreOffice (all programs, i.e. Writer, Calc, Impress)
and has been reproducible in the current live images under both GNOME
and XFCE, even without installation, and verified on various hardware.
When LibreOffice Writer is launched for the first time and the "Tabbed
(Apply to all)" view is selected under "View" and "Interface," inactive
buttons (e.g., in the "Review" tab) are displayed grayed out. This is
correct. However, when LibreOffice Writer is started the next time, the
labels are completely gone.
The bug has apparently been reported to LibreOffice (#166169) and only
affects desktop environments based on GTK. KDE Plasma is not affected;
the LibreOffice versions 7.4.* and 24.* work perfectly under GTK and do
not show this behaviour.
It may be advisable for you to take a look at this behavior before
LibreOffice 25.* is integrated into the stable release.
I am attaching screenshots under GNOME and XFCE showing the effect for
your information.
