Dear Maintainer,
In "Download OS"
then "Debian testing x86_64 (netinst)"
then during the debian neinstall setup I first get an warning that the
install cannot load extra modules that I bypass, then a more critical
one that no network card was found.
Missing network for the netinstall install is not usable, thus this bug
report.

I tried both with UEFi and BIOS setup. here are the VM setups at the
point they coplained about missing network card.
I believe this is a missing entry in the template, but I do't know where
these templates are.

It tuns out that there is a interface definition i the VM that shows no
network card:
