   * What led up to the situation?
updated to current version of devuan daedalus
use a US keyboard with US international with dead keys (to type accented chars)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I can't (and won't try to) know what Devuan did in their last updates. Nor does it matter here where this - as said - is Debians BTS, not Devuans.


And it's stable, which won't get fixes like this anymore either anymore. Try with trixie  or so, too (and yes, I don't care at all whether devuan already has something trixie'ish)
