Details in the Mobian issue at [1]. Upstream is already aware of such an issue with virtual machines [2],
they suggest to check the [3] MR to fix the situation. [3] is already merged upstream, will be released as
soon as next 25.1.x release is tagged.
Within [1], you will see I've built mesa applying such a patch and found it to fix the issue [4].

Please consider backporting the [3] patch on top of the 25.0.7 that will be included in trixie.

Hi,
just to inform, this fix seems to also solve this bug I had detected on
smplayer on debian/sid associated with the mesa-libgallium library
version 25.0.7-1, which created a segfault in the kernel when playing
mkv videos:
