The QML in the "Kicker" plasmoid has seen a regression in version 6.3.5-1,
wherein which the configuration page of Kicker can no longer be accessed,
it is blank. The error it throws is as follows:

This bug is reproducible in the KDE Live ISOs in Debian.
This is a serious functionality bug, because it renders the ability to configure Kicker (not kickoff)
completely inoperable. After tracing back what could have caused this, the only thing that makes any sense is that it
is a version mismatch between the version of plasma-desktop-data and the rest of KDE.

With Trixie's release imminent, I admit this is beginning to scare me, because many users rely on this particular plasmoid.

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
kf6-kiconthemes, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.

A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is
attached.

The version mismatch doesn’t matter. The packages still in 6.3.4 I didn’t upload because they didn’t have any code change in their 6.3.5 releases. Upstream always releases every package for point releases, whether they have code changes or not.

I very much doubt it so that’s not the kind of argument that will make me move, but anyway, the bug should be fixed now. :)
If you can confirm it fixes the issue for you and doesn’t break anything else, I’ll file an unblock request so it can transition to trixie.
