Version: 4.0+dfsg-3 Not sure what causes this, but there is still an empty/generic desktop icon displayed for Lazarus (4.0) in GNOME instead of the correct one. I have checked the installed desktop icons and the desktop file and everything looks correct.
Have you got hicolor-icon-theme installed?
Yes, I have. I am using a standard desktop Debian Trixie installation with GNOME. "Have you got hicolor-icon-theme installed? "
Hi, Yes. It needs to be installed. It's absence might be a problem, but clearly not the issue here.
Can you please confirm this issue is solved in Lazarus 4.6 and 4.8?
Unfortunately still the same problem with Lazarus 4.8 on latest Debian Forky. (Lazarus 4.6 does not seem to be available for some reason.)
