Hi,
I'm typing this on an amd64 system and reportbug on that system doesn't
let me file a bug against u-boot-rpi. Please reassign accordingly.
I have written a boot.cmd script that searches mmc and usb devices for
Linux kernels and grubaa64.efi and is highly flexible. The code was
inspired by what I know from the Banana Pi,
/etc/flash-kernel/bootscript/bootscr.sunxi. If a boot fails, the user
can stop the next boot attempt and inject the environment with variables
to help the script to find the files it is searching for.
Please feel free to include this script as an example into the u-boot
package. I am also fine with the script handed upstream as an example or
for productive use.
I will try to help and answer questions.
Thanks for providing u-boot in Debian.
Greetings
Marc
