I have tested flash-kernel on a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 Rev 1.1 running
Bookworm[1] with the following entry in /etc/flash-kernel/db:

Machine: Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 Rev 1.1
Kernel-Flavors: arm64
DTB-Id: broadcom/bcm2711-rpi-cm4-io.dtb
U-Boot-Script-Name: bootscr.uboot-generic
Required-Packages: u-boot-tools
Boot-Script-Path: /boot/boot.scr

Please add machine db entry for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4
