Dear Maintainer,

For some reason, this specific version, 6.15-rt-amd64, does not include the i915 driver, so we are forced to use the experimental (and maybe buggy) xe driver. 6.15-amd64 does have the i915 driver; I am not sure why that was not included with this version.
Searching with `apt-file search i915.ko.xz | grep linux-image-` shows that `linux-image-6.15-rt-amd64` does not appear, but `linux-image-6.15-amd64` does.

Sincerely,
Huey Chen

i915 simply does not work with the RT settings enabled. There are
patches somewhere, but they have deliberatelly not merged yet.

After updating to kernek 6.17.8, module i915 is no longer available kernel no longer recognized my device's GPU. As a workaround I've force detection of the GPU by the new xe driver, but it's reported as "not officially supported". Turns out the i915 module is missing from the package. This is unexpected since the module is available in the "vanilla" (non-rt) version of the same kernel: linux-image-6.17.8+deb14-rt-amd64.
