IÄm not aware that we have any tool like this in the archive.

I've been watching sporadic work on integrating openEMS with the Ringdove
suite, and am sufficiently interested in using that work someday to take a
whirl at packaging openEMS for Debian.

I've created https://salsa.debian.org/electronics-team/openems and work
on the packaging will proceed there.

I note that openEMS was packaged at one point by the Debian Science
Team, but the last work was apparently in 2021 based on a previous
upstream release.  The work I plan to do is re-packaging starting with
upstream released version 0.0.36, which itself may prove to be somewhat
out of date (22 Oct 2023 release) relative to recent upstream
development work.
