Dear maintainer(s), Your package has an autopkgtest, great. However, it fails since February 2025 in unstable and testing, but also in stable. Can you please investigate the situation and fix it? I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. The release team has announced [1] that failing autopkgtest on amd64 and arm64 are considered RC in testing. More information about this bug and the reason for filing it can be found on https://wiki.debian.org/ContinuousIntegration/RegressionEmailInformation As I highly suspect this is a test only issue, with my Release Team member hat on I have tagged this as trixie-ignore as it's so late in the freeze and it's not worth removing the package from trixie because of this at this moment. Having said that, if a fix is possible without fully removing the autopkgtest and without making the test superficial, it's still welcome, but it would need to happen soon. Paul [1] https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2019/07/msg00002.html https://ci.debian.net/data/autopkgtest/testing/amd64/c/cl-plus-ssl/61517881/log.gz 187s Failure Details: 187s -------------------------------- 187s ALPN-CLIENT in CL+SSL.ALPN []: 187s 187s (CL+SSL:GET-SELECTED-ALPN-PROTOCOL 187s (CL+SSL:MAKE-SSL-CLIENT-STREAM STREAM :ALPN-PROTOCOLS PROPOSED)) 187s 187s evaluated to 187s 187s NIL 187s 187s which is not 187s 187s EQUAL 187s 187s to 187s 187s "h2"
Hello, Investigated just now. Cherry-picking what looks to be upstream's fix for this isn't sufficient, and updating to a new upstream snapshot requires cl-trivial-sockets to (be packaged and) go through NEW. So indeed probably not fixable for trixie.
Re: Paul Gevers cl-plus-ssl is used by pgloader, where ALPN support is irrelevant. If we can't easily fix the problem, we should consider removing the test (or making it and expected failure). Christoph
Hello, Makes sense to me.
Re: Sean Whitton Thanks, I just uploaded a fix in a new "unstable" git branch. I had to mark the ecl test run as flaky because ecl is currently broken (#1096562). Hopefully this fix is enough and this doesn't mean the whole lisp toolchain is going to drop out because of inter-dependencies between sbcl and ecl. Christoph
