The system is an ancient Dell T1600 with onboard Radeon video. 16GB memory.
Using the xfce desktop.

Using default driver, i.e. nouveau, fresh install

After doing a suspend/resume,, the system comes backup without video sync.

Removing the video cable at the monitor and re-plugging did not restore
sync.

The same install comes back from suspend when using NVIDIA K5000 video
card on a Dell 7810.

Dell 5250 laptop wtth as expected.  Intel integrated video works on
trixie rc2 fresh install.

On the system with the radeon video:

Applied updates to my rc2 install and the problem no longer manifests.

Both manual suspend/resume and timeout/resume work as expected.
