This is becoming a little annoying… this is a trixie setup, and
both for today’s 6.12.35+deb13 and for last week’s 6.12.33+deb13
I got sent a multi-Mebibyte changes eMail.

My bullseye systems don’t do that, they only include the changes
for the latest upload (twice: once for src:linux for linux-libc-dev
and once for the kernel image, which comes from the -signed package,
but still only twice ONE changelog entry, not hundreds.

I’m attaching today’s mail hoping you can figure out the regression.

It happened again today.

I first did an apt-get upgrade because I wasn’t in the mood for a
new kernel and wanted to get the remaining upgrades before startx,
then did an apt-get dist-upgrade afterwards which brought me the
new kernel/headers and firefox-esr, which had been updated in the
meantime.

This is… mildly annoying.

I think I'm seeing something similar over here -- I took a couple months'
worth of sid updates today, and it seems that for every package that had a
NEWS item I should have seen, I was shown the entire NEWS for that package,
rather than just the ones relevant for the set of versions I was jumping
over/to.  Most notably a whole pile of gnupg NEWS dating back 5+ years, but
I think there were some other examples as well.

Today, again. Only the kernel changed.

Same here …

This might be #1055780 reloaded. This bug was discovered and
temporarily fixed during the rewrite of apt-listchanges in
experimental but seems to have raised its ugly head again.

Hi,

This happens to me all the time. I cleared apt-listchanges cache, twice,
without success. Changes from kernel are not "marked as read". Is there
any way to simply exclude a package in the meantime?
