The speed=# parameter is ineffective on Blu-ray. For example, wodim speed=0 -fix still sets the maximum speed, even though it should set the lowest possible speed. While growisofs does support manual BD write speed given that it was [specifically made with BD in mind](http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/linux/DVD+RW/Blu-ray/), it doesn't have all the options that wodim has. Therefore I am asking wodim to support speed setting on BD too.
Actually, wodim -fix doesn't seem to do anything on Blu-ray. This needs to be added too. It seems nothing for Linux exists to finalize Blu-ray discs so far
By that, I mean it doesn't change any data. It just spins the disc and the drive makes the sounds it would make to prepare for writing data, but that's all. After seconds, it finishes without having changed anything.
