A simple library to encode and decode JSON Web Tokens (JWT) in PHP, as defined by RFC 7519.
JWTs are a compact, URL-safe means of representing claims to be transferred between two parties.
This library supports all standard JWT signing algorithms, including HMAC, RSA, and ECDSA, and is widely used for authentication and authorization in modern PHP applications.

Features:

This is a follow-up regarding the ITP for php-firebase-php-jwt.
Update:
After further review of the FOSSology project requirements, I have
repackaged php-firebase-php-jwt to use version 6.3.0 (instead of the
previously mentioned 6.11.1). This change ensures strict compatibility with
FOSSology, which specifically requires version 6.3.0 in its dependency list.
Summary of changes:
Downloaded and packaged the correct upstream version: 6.3.0
Updated all Debian packaging files to reflect this version
Verified that this version matches the requirements of FOSSology and avoids
any potential incompatibilities that could arise from using a newer version

Hello,
This is an update regarding the ITP for firebase-php-jwt (bug #1109343).
I have completed the packaging for version 6.3.0, which matches the version
required by the FOSSology project. The package includes all necessary
Debian packaging files and follows Debian PHP packaging guidelines.
Summary of changes:
Downloaded and packaged the correct upstream version: 6.3.0
Ensured all packaging files (control, rules, changelog, copyright, watch,
install, etc.) are present and correct
The package is intended as a dependency for FOSSology, not as a general PHP
team package
