Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
     I start gimp from the menu or from the terminal, it crashes with a segmentation fault.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
     I tried running gimp with different options, but the issue persists.
   * What was the outcome of this action?
     The outcome is always the same: a segmentation fault.
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
     I expected gimp to start normally without crashing.

Dear Maintainer,

  When started from the terminal, before the segmentation fault, the following error message is displayed:

```
(gimp:25758): GLib-CRITICAL **: 14:08:52.624: g_utf8_collate_key: assertion 'str_norm != NULL' failed
```

Dear Maintainer,

  I try to reinstall 3.0.4, purge the config files, try to install 2.10.34, update libc and glib, but the problem persists.
  But after a reboot, GIMP 2.10.34 and 3.0.4 work again.
  Sorry for the inconvenience, I don't know what happened but it seems the problem does not come from gimp.

  Regards,

    Stéphane
