Description : Additional extensions for the Twig template engine

This package provides additional extensions for the Twig template engine,
such as i18n, text, and array helpers. It is a community-maintained fork
compatible with Twig 3.x.

This package is required as a dependency for the FOSSology project and
other PHP applications.

I intend to maintain this package as part of the Debian PHP ecosystem.

That rather looks like an unmaintained fork, stalled for fourteen years,
and 185 commits behind https://github.com/twigphp/Twig-extensions that
has been abandoned for six years.

Can we please **not** introduced obsolete and unmaintained (PHP) code
into Debian?

It probably needs help upstream first to use up to date dependencies
before being considered for Debian.

Help is welcome into the Debian PHP ecosystem. Trying to keep the
current packages up to date requires already much work!
