Dear Maintainer,

Thanks for your hard work in maintaining Debian.

    * What led up to the situation?

I was using the KDE systemsettings application to change keyboard
shortcuts when
the system locked up.

    * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
      ineffective)?

I couldn't change to the console, so I rebooted with magic-sysrq.

    * What was the outcome of this action?

Upon reboot, I found errors in the syslog which are reported here.

    * What outcome did you expect instead?
