Dear Maintainer,

* What led up to the situation?
I opened a video using Celluloid and after around 45 seconds of playback the
application started flickering/blinking rapidly.
I am using Gnome 48 on Wayland with an NVIDIA GPU.

* What outcome did you expect instead?
Smooth, normal video playback.

Can you get version 0.29 of experimental and test it so we can see if
the problem still occurs?
