There's a long standing bug in autojump wherein it has data loss. This
is addressed in the newer 22.5.3 release.

For details, please see:
* https://github.com/wting/autojump/issues/391

autojump hasn't been updated in Debian, in years. The version in Debian
is at 22.5.1 all the way up till o-o-stable.

On the other hand, in case you no longer intend to maintain it in
Debian, I'd request the package be orphaned please. So that others can
chime in.

Thanks,
Ritesh

Half a year later with no reaction, the case for MIA/QA won't get any
clearer. With more than seven years after the last upgrade, the package
should be orphaned/reassigned, it is indeed buggy while fixed upstream.
I'm a little puzzled since autojump is fairly popular, Popcon confirms
it kind of, though not as much as I thought. Anyway this is a
showstopper right now. Did you try to contact the maintainer aside from
this report? It's his only package and I don't see any activity in
Debian for years, but I might be missing something.

Does anyone feel like opening MIA on this?
