Dear Maintainer, I was using Debian 12 with GNOME and Wayland on Lenovo D330. When I installed Debian 13 (clean install, no upgrade) with GNOME and Wayland, autorotation stopped working. I tried the following settings but without success: sudo systemd-hwdb update sudo udevadm trigger -v -p DEVNAME=/dev/iio:device0 sudo service iio-sensor-proxy restart I also tried monitoring the sensors, but it doesn't detect them. The service works, but it doesn't detect them.
This bug has been fixed in version 3.8 (here is the upstream patch https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/hadess/iio-sensor-proxy/-/merge_requests/400#note_3046143 ). Please backport this version in Debian Trixie Best, Archisman
This seems to be a duplicate bug of https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1108066 Archisman
all the required upstream fixes. Lucas: see if you can do the tests indicated at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1108066 and provide their output.
