* Package name : soundux Version : 0.2.7 Upstream Contact: Noah (Curve), Nico (D3sox) * URL : https://github.com/Soundux/Soundux/ * License : GPLv3 Programming Lang: C++ Description : soundboard application Soundux is a cross-platform soundboard that features a simple user interface. With Soundux you can play audio to a specific application. Its target audience consists of podcasters, streamers and other types of content creators. ------ Upstream builds the package with git submodule and the build process depends so far on fetching third party code. So it likely won't be enough to package soundux itself but would require pulling in further libraries and other things. I have managed to compile it locally, and tested it with different applications. But to package it properly due to its dependency size (which in parts might not be packaged yet) it would be nice and lovely if people that are interested to seeing this happen get in contact to form a small team around it. Otherwise it very likely might take a while. Also, yes - upstream looks a bit dead (last release 2021), but: The reason for that is that they are working on a rewrite. When that will be in a releaseable process isn't known, but having it packaged now (even though it might mean some dependency changes and similar) is still very beneficial and will reduce the bootstrapping process once it's released.
