As far as i can see this does not impact either the program nor
compiling with -Werror enabled, but I have no idea what's going on and
if this is harmless indeed.

Control: reassign -1 src:binutils

these are harmless, and I'll also disable this specific warning in an
upcoming binutils upload.

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
binutils, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.

A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is
