debugedit testsuite on hurd-amd64 shows: gdb: warning: A handler for the OS ABI "GNU/Hurd" is not built into this configuration of GDB. Attempting to continue with the default i386 settings. https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=debugedit&arch=hurd-amd64&ver=1%3A5.2-3&stamp=1756796777&raw=0
Hey Mark, Strange, this test passed with the same GDB version before: https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=debugedit&arch=hurd-amd64&ver=1%3A5.2-2&stamp=1756548946&raw=0 I triggered a rebuild, let's see if it makes any difference. Thanks,
Hi Sergio, Yes, it passes because it is ignoring the errors. But the warning/error is also in that build log. Cheers, Mark
Control: reassign -1 debugedit 1:5.2-3 Control: tags -1 + patch Ah, right. Well, this is still strange. GDB was properly configured:
Control: reassign -1 src:gdb Control: forwarded -1 https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33377 Yep, it is. I did some debugging and filed https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33377. I couldn't reach the bottom of the problem yet because debugging on Hurd is much slower, but hopefully we'll have a fix soon. I'm taking the liberty to reassign this bug back to GDB. Thanks,
