I mainly use kdiff3 with 'git mergetool'. Since my migration to trixie, the
kdiff3 window is often badly displayed. I seems like the graphical buffers
were not initialized. This issue makes the application unusable.


I have played a bit with kdiff3. It seems the issue only happen when kdiff3
is invoked with --auto (unfortunately, it is not easy to ask to git to not
use --auto).

If I stop and restart 'git mergetool', the problem is still there. If I
resize the window before to exit the application, the next restart is often
fine. If I run kdiff3 --auto manually, the problem occurs once in two (in a
predictable sequence: ko, ok, ko, ok...).

I use Plasma + wayland. The problem was not here with bookworm. I assume
the issue is related to libqt6, plasma or KDE 6.

Hello,

is there a better workaround than fiddling with the window size every time?
I'm using the combination of `git mergetool` and `kdiff3` on KDE very often,
and this is _very_ annoying.  Another screenshot attached.
