package: upowerd
version: 1.90.9-1

every few minutes upower tells me that the battery is reporting a bad
value. yet the value shown in the gbome "top menu bar thing" (no idea what
this is called) says 0%-- this didnt happen on bookworm and the battery was
just as broken. this makes using the systemd journal much harder

i know it's a hardware issue, but
- upower didnt used to be this verbose
- once a day would be plenty
- if the message is that important why is there no indication in the bit
the user sees? (you could change it to '??' or something )

I'm encountering this on my laptop too. The battery is not in good health, but
even so the log message is an annoyance.

This is with binary package upower/1.91.2-1 installed.

From searching the current upstream bugtracker (the previous bugzilla instance
seems empty and perhaps unused by upower), I've found an existing upstream
bugreport that seems to describe the same issue, and am setting that as a
forwarded-to URL for this Debian bug.
